On Wednesday 7th June 2023 our P1 pupils visited Belfast Zoo! Everyone had an amazing time seeing and learning about all the wonderful animals.

Oak Tree Planted to Celebrate the King's Coronation

On Wednesday 10th May 2023 an Oak tree was planted at the front of our school. This tree was kindly donated by members of the Women’s Institute commemorate the coronation of King Charles III. Pictured are members of the Women’s Institute, members of the school council, nursery pupils, John Watson (Chair of Governors) and David Spratt (Principal).

It is hoped that this tiny sapling will grow alongside our pupils for generations to come, and flourish over the years into a mighty oak tree.

On Friday 5th May 2023 we celebrated the King’s Coronation with a “Dress To Impress” day. The children looked wonderful and we enjoyed a picnic lunch with music and everyone got a coronation cupcake as a small after lunch treat.
